Rampant Arch Cuckoo Clock – The Arch Series

The Rampant Arch is defined by its asymmetrical rise, where one side of the arch springs higher than the other. This form developed in medieval and early Gothic architecture, often used where differing heights or sloping roofs required an adaptive structural solution.
In this design, the rampant arch is reduced to its essential geometry, creating a dynamic, slightly off-balance silhouette that feels architectural, intentional, and modern while still rooted in historic form.
The sculpted silhouette adds character while remaining clean and contemporary, making it a distinctive piece within the Arch Series.
The cuckoo bird emerges from the arched opening on the hour, creating a subtle architectural dialogue between form and function.

The body is hand-painted, paired with a natural plywood front.

❂ Counting Cuckoo
The bird comes out and sings - Cuckoo according to the hour
(for example, at 4 o’clock the cuckoo sings 4 times).
